Based in the commune of La Morra, Ciabot Berton have produced a Barolo expressing more of the commune than any single vineyard.
It is a blend of 3 origins, Bricco San Biaggio, Rive and Roggeri.
The ripe Nebbiolo grapes undergo a long period of maceration after fermentation before ageing in Slovenian oak botti.
The palate is fresh and lively with the tell-tale notes of roses and tar. The wine culminates in a big finish.
It drinks well now but has quite a few more years ahead of it when it will become more complex and a treat for you to enjoy.
Food Match: Roast meats, game and pasta with meat sauces. Truffle too!
Drink now until 2020
