From the country that inspired Bram Stoker’s, Legend of Dracula, comes Negru de Dragasani a unique and native grape variety. The wines produced with this variety present a very balanced composition.
The Mehedinti hills have always produced the highest quality wines.
With manual harvesting the must is pumped into temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, seeded with yeasts to complete fermentation. The wine is then racked off with the completion of malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, where it is refined for a maturing period of 6 months.
The resultant wine is intense ruby red, dry and full bodied with rounded tannins, fruity notes and a persistant finish.
