This wine is made from the oldest vines of the estate that are between 40 and 60 years old and that are grown on mica schist soils.
This imparts rich fruit flavours on the palate and an underlying minerality that makes partnering food a pleasure.
Dry, clean and full flavoured, this is a Muscadet that is wonderful for current drinking. However, unusually for wines of this appellation, it can be cellared for up to a decade over which time an array of complex flavours will emerge. Stunning Muscadet!
Food March: Oysters, fish, seafood and, believe it or not, spicy oriental food.
