This fabulous rosé from Provence is a complex blend of 5% Syrah, 45% Mourvedre, 15% Tibouren, 15% Cinsault and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon all grown in the sandy and schistous soils of the St Tropez Peninsula.
The grapes are chilled as soon as they arrive at the winery and with a very short skin maceration being done itleaves a delicate pink colour in the wine. Low temperature fermentaion preserves the fine red fruit aromas and flavours.
In the glass it has a fine rose petal hue, a nose that is fruity with hints of peach, apricot, melon and strawberry.
The palate is round yet fresh with notes of cherry sweets dominating.
Serve cool but not very chilled.
