100% Nero d’Avola. Grown in the limestone soils of western Sicily. It was fermented in stainless steel tanks with temperatures kept to 23 – 25 degrees, thus preserving the fine fruit aromas. The colour is an intense red with hints of purple at the edges. The nose is dominated by notes of black cherry with some more herbal highlights above. The palate is full and generous with a solid but ripe tannin structure to balance. Long in the finish, this is an excellent example of Nero d’Avola and a super food wine.
Food Match: Well seasoned meat dishes.
