Produced in Salento and Manduria where the Primitivo grape grows to perfection. Fermented on the skins with a 24 day maceration after vinification, the wine has a great depth of colour and has extracted good structure from the skins. The colour is an intense red with some purple notes at the rim. The bouquet is complex with notes of spice above the red fruit jam. Full bodied with good structure and soft, ripe tannins.
Food Match: All meats and poultry. Ideal at a BBQ.
