With the recent demarcation of the Darling district of the Coastal region Darling Cellars have focused on wines which are terroir and variety specific.
The vineyards are planted in deep, decomposed granite soils on the slopes of the Darling Hills, where the heat of the warm afternoons is tempered by the nearby Atlantic Ocean.
This results in top quality grapes that are crafted into delicious and unique wines. Around 99% of the vineyards are dry farmed and almost the same percentage is trained as bush vines, providing an almost completely natural growing environment for the vines.
