This is a classic Mosel Riesling that is grown in the slate soils around Zeltingen. It is designated as Feinherb, a relatively new designation for wines that are off-dry.
This wine has residual sugar of 15g per litre and it is this sugar that really helps carry the fruity qualities of the Riesling grape.
After hand harvesting the juice was fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats.
The resulting wine is crisp, off dry and with citric notes balanced by some green apple flavours.
