Chenin Blanc from dry farmed bush vines is the basis of this wine along with a touch of Chardonnay and Semillon. When once asked about harvesting these, Adi Badenhorst informed a buyer that he used child labour as they were closer to the ground. I don’t think the buyer had the same sense of humour as Adi!
The Sémillon element gives fantastic aromatics, whilst Chardonnay has expanded the mid palate.
It’s a great wine that is not only built for today but will also age well for a couple or three years.
